CP Rail has announced that it is resuming operations today after agreeing to arbitration with the Teamsters’ Canada Rail Conference.

The agreement to go to arbitration was reached with the assistance of mediators from the government’s Federaion Mediation and Conciliation Service.

A binding arbitration typically involves an employer and a union presenting their demands before an independent arbitrator, who makes a final decision on contract terms.

Normal operations will continue at CP during the arbitration period.

We wil revert with additional details as these become available.
