Below is the link to a memo received from Ocean B.C. Towing Inc. regarding a fuel surcharge effective June 1, 2021.
The calculation of the fuel surcharge is a as follows:
The price for the fuel surcharge will be based on the rack price per litre for Ultra Low Sulphur diesel at Vancouver /Petro-Canada and be adjusted the first day of each month. The surcharge will be applied to the net amount of the invoice.
The Base price will be set at $0.2430/litre and for every incrementally increase of $ 0.024 of the Base price plus the B.C. Carbon Tax, the fuel surcharge will increase by 1%
