The Halifax Port Authority has published a Notice of Amendments to its fee schedule, which will come into effect as of April 1, 2023.  Key elements of the amendments are as per below:

• Harbour dues, berthage fees and wharfage rates will increase by 3 percent in the auto, breakbulk and container sectors;
• Storage for empty carrier equipment on the HPA’s common user terminals will increase by $1.00 per TEU after 8 days’ free time;
• An additional tier has been added to the port’s ESI (Environmental Ship Index) incentive rebate for vessels with an ESI score of 65 or higher.
