Dear Member,

We are pleased to announce the relaunch of our Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Committee, as a forum for the Federation to share regulatory updates and to receive feedback from members regarding pertinent issues in this evolving field.

Items of discussion will include:

  • Undeclared & mis-declared dangerous goods (DG) penalties
  • DG port permit process
  • Updates to DG training requirements from Transport Canada
  • Transport Canada’s Client Identification Database (CID)
  • Any other relevant regulatory updates.

A first meeting will be tentatively scheduled for Tuesday April 9th at 2pm at the Federation’s Montreal office in a hybrid format, with more details to come.
