The Vancouver Port Authority has issued a Notice to Industry 10/2023 announcing the launch of a Centralized Scheduling System (CSS) in Second Narrows.

Starting Tuesday October 17, 2023 the Port Authority is requesting all Tier 1 vessels to request all TCZ-2 transits.  On October 31, 2023 the CSS will become mandatory.  All Tier 1 vessels planning a TCZ-2 transit will be required to be in receipt of a traffic clearance obtained via the CSS prior to transit.
