Dear Members,
Per the attached notice from the Lakes Pilots Association, two pilots will be required for transits between Detroit, Michigan and buoys 11/12 in Port Huron, Michigan effective December 5, 2025 and for the remainder of the 2025 navigation season.
This is due to the removal of aids to navigation, and weather/ice conditions are likely to result in extended designated water assignments.
