The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has issued NAVWARN NW-N-0070-26 indicating that Ice Control Zone Tango (T) has been FULLY activated and declared in force North of 56 00.000N.
Mariners are cautioned that bergy waters exist South and East of this zone. All laden oil tankers and ships carrying chemicals in bulk should comply with Transport Canada’s TP 15163 of the Joint Industry-Government Guidelines when navigating in this area.
