Further to our ON-10057, the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has issued NAVWARN NW-N-0281-26 advising that effective immediately (6 May) Ice Control Zone Whiskey (W) has been de-activated.
Please visit the NAVWARN link for the details of the affected area, which includes the Northeast Gulf of St Lawrence and the Strait of Belle Isle.
All laden oil tankers and ships carrying chemicals in bulk should comply with Transport Canada’s TP 15163 of the Joint Industry-Government Guidelines.
