Dear Members,
The Seaway issued Notice No. 5 is a navigational advisory for the Montreal / Lake Ontario section outlining operational guidance for vessels approaching Bridges 7A & 7B (Canadian Pacific Railway at Kahnawake, Québec). Mariners are instructed to strictly observe posted speed limits and bridge signal lights when approaching these bridges, as approach speed will be closely monitored.
The notice also provides a revised weekday schedule of estimated arrival times for EXO commuter trains crossing the bridges, and notes that vessels will be informed of their assigned bridge passage time when they make radio contact at designated control points.
