Dear Members,
The St Lawrence Seaway has issued the attached notice advising that dredging operations in the area of Wharf 10 of the Welland Canal have been completed.
Dredging operations will now move to the Guard Gate North Wall above Lock 7. Operations at the Guard Gate are anticipated to be completed by November 21.
Mariners and pilots are required to use the west entrance to Lock 7 during this period, as the access road to Lock 7 east will be closed as a result of the discharging of the dredge barge.
