Dear Members,
Please note the attached notice from the St. Lawrence Seaway stating that tighter speed restrictions are currently in effect due to the continuing decline of water levels on Lake St. Louis.
In addition to the speed limits outlined in the Seaway Practices & Procedures Schedule II – Table of Speeds, the speed restrictions listed in the attachment are also in effect in the MLO section. We invite members to review the details of the speed restrictions and to please contact Cedric Baumelle (Director of Marine Operations, cbaumelle@shipfed.ca) or the undersigned with any concerns.
