St Lawrence Pilotage (SLP) has advised that it is preparing to launch a new online portal for the submission and management of pilotage service requests, and has provided the attached preliminary information documents for agents (in English and French). The portal will allow users to submit, modify, and track pilotage requests electronically and will gradually replace the current telephone-based request process.
SLP has indicated that the new system is intended to improve visibility, traceability, and efficiency while providing users with greater control over their requests and access to historical records and invoices. Service standards and dispatch rules are not expected to change, and dispatchers will remain available for urgent situations.
At this stage, several implementation details, including training materials, information session dates, and the official launch date, have not yet been released, though SLP has advised that additional communications will be provided in the coming weeks. We will provide further updates as received; in the meantime, members are invited to review the attached documents and provide any initial feedback you might have to the undesigned.
