Please note the attached notice from St. Lawrence Pilotage advising that the Summer Rules for the Saguenay River came into effect on 29 March at 00:01.
The Summer Rules reflect the standard dispatch procedures under the regulations, irrespective of ice conditions. St. Lawrence Pilotage will assign either one pilot or a tug, depending on the vessel’s dimensions and the anticipated transit duration within the Saguenay River.
In addition, effective 30 March at 10:00 a.m., the Saint Nicolas anchorage is open for pilotage service, as indicated in the attached notice.
